Job Description:
Project funded by National Science Foundation (NSF), USA, and Generation Challenge Programme (GCP), Mexico, which are time bound. Requirements: Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/Life Sciences with the practical knowledge indicated in responsibilities. Responsibilities: Optimization of tools and development of pipelines for analysis of next generation sequencing (NGS) data, perl scripting, develop bioinformatic tools/ databases for sequence and gene expression analysis, actively associate in writing project reports and research articles, supervision of students and perform other related jobs from time to time. Knowledge in Java programming and database design is added advantage.
Nature and duration:
This position is a nationally recruited position and available only for Indian nationals for a period of one year initially, however extendable based on performance and need.
